Mark Coleman-Mabry

Mark Coleman-Mabry is a Morehouse College graduate. Mark has always been an entrepreneur at heart. When I was younger I had a garage cleaning and car detailing company. I learned this mindset from my Grandmother, who’s owned her business close to 50 years and counting. As a child I would spend my summers traveling and learning skills like sales, marketing, customer service and customer retention. I am in my field because of the skills that I have acquired from Grandma as well as my 5 years in corporate America and 5 years operating a successful small business. I began working for myself because I wanted a better work life balance and freedom to travel and enjoy this beautiful world. Although I was making great money, I was unable to spend it because I was spending 70 plus hours a week at work. If I was going to make someone else wealthy, I knew I could do it for myself and so I began my entrepreneurial way of life anew. When I first started my goal was to not only financially provide for my household, but to make an impact in my community. I think the thing that separates me from others in my field is my outlook and approach to solving issues faced in the business world while having a positive impact in my community. One of my favorite books “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie says, “The world is full of people who are grabbing and self-seeking. So the rare individual who unselfishly tries to serve others has an enormous advantage.” Everyday I try to be that “rare individual.”
